It's 4 bolts. Easy peasy. Leave belt on, break bolts lose, take belt off, remove bolts and pulley, install UD pulley, snug bolts, put belt on, tighten bolts to 115in/lbs.

Having said that, I would NOT run a UD W/P pulley ever!!!!! Why decrease the efficiency of one of the most crucial engine systems just to gain 1 or 2 HP, gains which could negate the UD due to higher ECT's and thus more potential to knock. Keep stock pulley and call it a day. It's not worth 70 bucks ZZP wants and not worth degrading a key engine component in a DD.

So about that cam install...

What is your job that you have all these people asking you these type questions yet you don't even know how to take off 4 W/P bolts? Hope your doing some reading on how to do YOUR cam install ;-)

And why rebuild the motor/beef up the bottom end just to run a cam other than the fact that removing the engine is one way to install a cam (but the engine can also be lowered and not completely removed, obviously an easier and quicker solution if only wanting to install a cam)? If the bottom end is fine, don't touch it IMO because if one of his supporting mods is "aluminum valve covers" then I'm highly doubting he has the know how to overhaul a 3800

This whole my car/customer car stuff is also getting really confusing in your threads

I smell something else..... oh wait, nevermind. It's just the nerd next to me who doesn't know what a shower is
I don't care what degree he'll obtain from this university, no company is going to hire someone who can't take care of themselves (and no he's not of any ethnicity that frowns upon deodorant haha)

Yuppers, just make sure you put everything back together correctly.... unlike Derek or you'll be doing it all again in a couple months

Cant fault someone for trying to learn. Atleast you are asking questions instead of going out there blind and messing something up.

Truth. Just sort of unsettling since I was assuming he was doing his cam install himself then this sort of question pops up  Cleary Ass = Me

I wouldnt waste the money on a rebuild. I would just source a low mileage short block from a salvage yard and build on that. These engines are a dime a dozen and can be had for cheap. Also due to how these engines are assembled most engine rebuilds end up with and engine failure.

Morad Parts Company. I'd go check their prices right now but they are currently in the middle of overhauling their ebay site.
