Anybody done, heard of or have any ideas to install some sort of high idle controller? Think it could be fairly simple, containing a solenoid or two and some type of servo attached to throttle cable. Maybe a timer somehow. It's cold getting off work at 11:00 and would be nice to start car and let coolant and oil get heated up before driving.
Whoops, meant to post in 3100 section. Could apply to 3800 I guess

If your car doesn't have a fast idle during a cold start, it probably has a bad sensor or two. Aside from that, if you want the car warmed up before driving, consider getting a remote start kit installed.

Find someone with a tuner, or buy a tuner yourself.
Then go into the idle RPM vs ECT (engine coolant temp) map, and customize until you're blue in the face.

Remote start seems like the best option for you.
