Would love any info someone has to offer.

My setup will be:
-PRJ LL Cam
-1.8 Roller Rockers*
-Double roller*
-42.5# Injectors*
-LS7 Lifters*
-105# springs
-3.0 pulley*
-Meth Injection*
-Tim King Tranny

* = Denotes that I already have it :D

Mr. Billboost and I will be pulling my motor and Tranny and doing the build sometime after this winter (sorry guys not happening this summer).

So any advice would be wonderful.

Other things I plan to buy this winter:
-2-Piece 14" rotors
-Inferno CF Hood
-SE Rear
-SE sideskirts

and I'm considering some 19s and doing the a whole new lighting setup, but depends on the money flow.

Your stock lifters are fine and most turbo setups still use stock. I would change out your springs for the Crow Cams 125# springs instead for piece of mind. How much lift will you be running wit that cam and 1.8 RR's? Talk to PRJ for a good recommendation on a reliable valve train setup.

Yeah I forgot that I meant 130# springs.

With the 1.8s and cam I'll see 0.549" max

I choose to replace the lifters since I have 110k on them...I'm in there why not replace with new. I don't want a collapsed lifted 1,000 miles later...cause its Murphy's law

Changed it up a little...Having a hard time picking a Cam cause I can't make up my mind

I did design a custom cam some time ago.

I do know that I will probably end up with some ported heads as well, there are some ZZP stage 4 heads for sale for a good price that I may buy. Haven't fully decided

I am on the NIC cam idea right now with 1.7 rockers as well

So What cam should I do?

i would get ported heads with any of those cams after .55 lift the stock casting just runs out of flow

but what rockers are you planning on running witht he XP? 1.7 is about it for the exhuast side as it gives it a .570 lidt the intake is .553

but on engine anylizer i popped those cams in and used a 1.7 rocker for the XP, NIC, and your custom cam and 1.8 with the LL. also there is no intercooler for a roots blower so th numbers are low had to use a 3" pulley

none ported heads numbers
LL 312hp 312tq
XP 303hp 313 tq
NIC 313hp 314tq
Custom 313hp 313tq

Ported heads
LL 320hp 323tq
XP 322hp 316tq
NIC 325hp 322tq
Custom 324hp 321tq


with these numbers there is not a big winner they all pretty much perform the same. it's jsut who evers product you want to buy and who you want to support

and here is what i plan on using a VS with 1.8 rockers

stock heads
303hp 313tq

ported heads
320hp 321tq

If your looking for lope the xp or nic will do that nicely as well as some of the sx cams. I personally love the sound of the gt2 from intense. But that would not be practical. But your doing heads too think about the s2 or s3 cam from them. ( sound great at idle)

If you're gonna go turbo especially a Z7 kit better to go with a stattima turbo cam #5...

But if you're looking for a mild streetable cam with a nice lope, I suggest X-P. The NIC cam sounds good to due the heavy duration but not sure about drivability or fuel consumption if that matters to you. Also check youtube for sound clips see which one you like the most. I can post mine if you hear what it sounds like

Normally I would agree with going with an ST cam but there are a few guys making great power on those cams themselves. The s1x cam just sounds mean after listening to both (XP and s1x). XP does like more boost than the s1x while the other does better if you ever decide to do NOS.

I'm not worried about fuel or daily drivability as this is no longer my daily driver.

I do like the S3 cam sound.
