Ok, I'm getting ready to bring my car in because my oil analysis says I have coolant in the oil and I am also having to add coolant at least once in between every oil change. This only started about 6K miles ago. Anyway my car is still under warranty and once I bring it into the dealership they are going to figure out the problem then notify the warranty adjuster in the area. When that happens the warranty adjuster will not let the car move until they see it. Basically what im saying is once I bring the car in I won't be able to drive it again till after it is fixed and covered by warranty.

The problem is probably the LIM. Is there other things I can have the dealer replace when they are fixing the problems? Other gaskets I should make sure they do or the injector O-rings perhaps? If they are goign to be in there I might as well have them do as much as I can.

Thanks.

If you don't mind paying for it, I'm sure they'll do whatever you ask them to do (within reason of course  ) but if they're just doing warranty work and didn't have the intention or clearance to do anything else, then no. They will more than likely just fix the problem the vehicle was initially brought in for, and if you want anything extra done that isn't realted to the warranty work then they'll charge you for it. What kind of mileage does your GP have?? That's going to determine what should be done at your current mileage, wheteher it's overkill to have certain things done, etc. Need more info

Car has 62K on it. Yea I know they are giogn to charge me for it but at least I could get price quotes. I may bring the car into a smaller shop that handles warranty work and their labor prices will be cheaper for anyting extra. I've already had the front valve cover gasket replaced twice so that is good finally. My rear one leaks just a tiny bit so that can be replaced. I heard somewhere its a good idea to change out the injector rings and there was something with fuel line o-rings (?)
