My gf's GTP is taking quite a while to start up. Around 4-5 seconds of turning before it'll fire. I replaced the fuel pump (W-body store), relays, and resister about 3 months ago.

What are the chances that the fuel pump I bought is crappy?
And are there any other things I should look into?

do you always let the fuel pump finish priming before trying to start the car?

Mine does that if I don't let the pump prime long enough. Then again, my car's kinda bitchy at times...

See, I would be with you guys on this, but my fuel filter is far from old. I think about a year and a half, and I have the same issue... So I'm wondering if maybe just it could use some fuel injector cleaner or something... Maybe check the fuel pressure at the rail too...? I dunno. Could be your fuel filter still too.

Check the fuel filter to see if it's plugged, aside from that pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator. If it's dripping fuel, replace the regulator. My '98 had hard starting problems when the engine was warm because of this.

Yeah, my Volvo was like this when the fuel pressure regulator failed. As mentioned, pull the vac line off the FPR, and see if fuel comes out, or it even smells like fuel. Then...you'll know.

^^^Same here. My mom's 96 regal was experiencing issues related the fule pressure regulator. The car would run fine at initial start up. After the car sat for awhile it was hard to start. It would stall unless the gas peddle was pressed. It has run great after I replaced it.
