Got the Gen V swap done........been driving it all evening.... At 1st no problems what so ever... I got on it once about 3/4 throttle after driving it about 60 or 70 miles.... and i noticed it sputtering. I plugged in my Powertuner to see what was up..... and im showing a few misfires in Cyl 3 only under boost. Idle and normal driving no misfires at all. Wtf is goen on here?

Thats exactly what came to my mind last night...... i thought my spark was getten blown out. I should probably go up to a 3.5'' pulley too..... cause ive always had a 3.4 on my Gen 3 no problems..... but its getten WAYY too much boost too quick w/ a 3.4 on the Gen V. If i slowly roll into it from any speed i get less then 1* KR...........but i punched it once from 65 and it spiked up to 11 or 12* really quick and at WOT at 120mph it was at 0*KR.....

I replaced my plugs and wires last spring.....got AC Delco wires in htere and TR6 plugs.....and i think i gapped em at .054....or .055..........what should I gap em at now?? .052 ??

Pulled the plug in Cyl #3 and the gap was at .057  Wen out and bought some AL-104's and im gunna gap em at .054 to start.

Ironically, I was having missfires in cyl 3 when I went more than 3/4 throttle or got into boost. I replaced my plugs, wires, and coils. It was still missing in cyl 3 so i checked the injectors and cyl 3 injector was crack at the end. if the plugs/wires dont work, check the injectors.

First step, check resistance on your plug wires, for possible issue. For factory wires, normaly resistance is around 50ohm per foot. MSD or similar would be around 30-40 ohms per foot.

Just a reminder guys

When i bought my car last Aug. I took it back coz i had a few issues with the service dept. and when they did a scan there was a miss fire on Cyl 3. They told me there was an update for the PCM. They reprogramed it and all is fine.

So curiously, what did the problem end up being?

Pulled the plug in Cyl #3 and the gap was at .057 ....and the rest were at .056. And the increased boost from the Gen V was just blowing it out. Put AL-104's in there gapped at .054.......no more issues
