My 07 has about 84k miles on it now and it either just needs to be driven hard a bit to blow the junk out or the cat is a bit clogged because I can make out the rotten egg smell every now and then but not all the time. If i replace the cat I do not want any codes thrown because I do not want to get tune just to take the light off. So with that being said any have any idea what cat I should get to replace? The car is staying stock but I dont care if its a high flow as long as it doesnt throw a code. If I have to get a stock cat to keep that from happening I will do that. Thanks, I tried searching but its a bit hard to pick through the pages and pages of search results LOL

any universal cat will work as long as you keep the o2 sensors plugged in

Well, I saw somewhere where someone had used a Magnaflow cat and still got the code. That was a high-flow though and if they don't work "good enough" for the PCM it will set the code off.

If it's high flow, it was eventually set off a code.

I've had my Magnaflow high flow for over a year and it has not set a code....But it has broken apart on the inside and now rattles like nobody's business.

Thanks for the input guys. I know I am being picky but thats just how I am. Like I said, I don't care if its high-flow but I just wanted to check on a few things before it came time.

Or just rip that crap outta there like I did..yea i have a constant code and mil light, but the better sound and slightly improved performance off sets the trouble imho ;)
