So here is my situation I am the resident adviser to the locals that that are modding the l67 locally. After much time research and thinking I have come to these 2 ideas mostly. Alright the goal 325hp to the wheels and still a very streetable DD capable of 12.9 at a sea level track and a 13.99 here at 5280 ft. Now Nitrous is not allowed and the basis of the builds will be built around a low mileage l36 block. As for aftermarket parts the s1x or the xp will be used for the cam. Intercooling is not seen as a viable option since it is more maintenance intensive. Now the block will have stg2 or stg 3 equivalent heads with 105 springs and modded retainers and the larger manley valves and milled to allow .600 lift. The rockers will be 1.6 or 1.7 RR to make the valvetrain fully roller. that all being said it would also get 42.5 injectors to be on the safe side of fueling. the lim will be port matched to the heads and polished to a 600 grit finish. The TB will be a N* and will have a maf along with it. The car would have SSA or pacesetter headers and a full 3 in catback.
here is where the question is would you get a fully ported gen 3 with the inlet matched to the N* and a 3.2 or 3.0.
the other option is a gen v that was matched to the N* and then slightly ported to smooth the surface and get rid of the sand cast other then that hardly opened at all with a 3.4 or 3.2 the gen 3 car was running a 3.0.

Both cars would be dyno tuned and have a built trans backing it with 3.29s and an lsd.
so i know there are some ppl on here that have alot of experience and knowledge so I want your thought and more importantly tell me the reasoning for your logic. that is mostly what I need to show the locals to prove either my point or give them another idea to consider.
I realize it may be hard to hit that # non intercooled but just tell me your thoughts and logic

A fully ported Gen 3 is going to have the same output as a lightly ported Gen V. I think if you want to hit that number and be streetable, just go with a small turbo, and an air-to-air intercooler.
