I dropped down to a 3.0" over the weekend and began scanning, in order to get her running consistent for next weekend at Byron Dragway.

Took a video if anyone is interested. Let me know what you think!

I've taken a step closer towards my goal to hit 11's in the Spring time.
The Gen V snout still needs to be machined to fit this on here, but it looks so awesome in my hand anyway.
I'll be picking up a WBS anti belt slip tensioner in order to run this pulley on the 6 rib.
I'll be throwing in a new oxygen sensor shortly, replacing my ~30k old one.
It is all tuning from there. This laptop needs a new battery and/or I need an inverter in the car, it lasted five minutes without external power before dying.
More to come...

Snout machining took place Saturday night.
Belt is as tight as a virgin.
I made the bag containing the shavings into a hacky sack.

Nice to see the project is coming along! . . haven't been on in a while,
what are you running for fuel pump/rewire etc?
have you had any fuel supply issues on E85?
. . . say under 1/4 tank etc.?

Stock fuel pump with almost 75k miles. I have the Racetronix rewire, but have not put it in yet.
I have a fuel pressure gauge in my pillar pod, pressure is consistently good.
No problems here, I make the right adjustments to the tune.

If it's a fuel volume issue(like keeping the bucket full on a nearly empty tank) i don't think it will show on Fuel Pressure gauge . . .but as long as you've got a wideband you'll know.
^this is what i experience under 1/4 tank on E85 only. i have a zzp rewire(need to upgrade that POS to a racetronix too) and stock 100k pump. Other than your xp cam for my 1.9 rockers i think our mod's are nearly identical(my sig's no up to date). not tryin to scare ya, just saying i'd keep my eye on it for sure.

Of course I have a wideband, it's listed in the first post's mod list which is not up to date either.
I've had the wideband long before I even hooked up the fuel pressure sender.
Believe me, I understand the need for proper AFR decay at WOT with 25* timing advance on 13 psi.
Personally, I don't think anyone should run smaller than 3.0" without a cam.

Why is that? I'm currently running the 3.0 with 24* timing and 12.5 afr and never see a blip of knock. not to mention, the car has never felt better. at this point i can't advance my timing, can't lean it out anymore so that leaves only one thing . . . . 2.8 and maybe some E98 from the track
