Just wondering if anyone on here has hptuner and if they think it's worth the $500. The Aeroforce Interceptor is around half the cost and puts out many of the same parameters. However being able to adjust everything would be nice. I'm wondering how complicated hptuner is and if i'd be better off getting an aeroforce, buying all the parts i want, throwing them in, then getting it dynotuned. If hptuner is easy to use then it'd definitely be more cost effective to go that route. Any input would be appreciated.

HP Tuners is a nice product, but stay away from the stand alone data logging version [sounds like that's your plan].
It seems they have problems they haven't resolved [I'm one of the victims  ].

The one with stand alone data logging?
If so,then that's the one I bought.
It doesn't work yet.
Needs a firmware update so I can't use stand alone.
I'm pretty much dead in the water.

If i get hptuner it'll be the vcm suite. I had my mind set on hptuner but their forum is filled with people that have problems with it so I'm starting to think maybe aeroforce is the way to go.

Get both. I have an aeroforce in my pillar pod and currently I have a powrtuner but will be purhasing an hptuner in the future. What's nice about aeroforce is that you have it right in front of you and its small. Your not goinggto be driving around with your laptop in the car so you can see the parameters.

If you're just looking for a scan box to read parameters when you're driving [and maybe to clear codes],the Scan Master is pretty darned good at what it does.
The G/N guys swear by it [I loved mine].
I think Mike Licht at Full Throttle still has them.

I've got both hptuners is the best mod I've ever bought there is a learning curve involved but nothing to difficult. The aeroforce is good to have so you can monitor your engine and tranny at all times

Mine is the VCM suite, do not believe it has the stand alone data logging.

aeroforce should be coming in today or tomorrow... can't wait. gonna be able to try out the 3.6 and see if i get KR with my current setup... if i get any at all i'm just going to put the 3.8 back on. I figure i'll wait til i get my 1.9 rockers and headers next spring to buy hptuner.

My friend has the HPT Suite with the stand alone data logger and out of the 7 different GM vehicles we've tried it out on, not one has given us any trouble at all... except Derek's, but that was his car battery's fault.
