If you hold your feet on the brake and put the tansmission in gear then step on gas lightly this will tell you if its a bad flywheel.. Noise will go away if you have a bad flywheel..

It is not had to slide under there are look. Even if you pull the starter and converter bolts ( so you can slide the converter over) still is like 30 min or so. And with the converter over you can see the center plenty good enough to see if it is broken or not.

Yup, if it goes away under load, flex plate.

If it DOESN'T then you have rod knock = your engines done.

It all starts with a little crack on them, and then spreads like wild fire. lol Sucks for sure.
