My mods are in sig, I was originally told this car had a DHP PCM, but the first time I tried testing that out it stopped at 124mph or so I thought. So I figured it must have th stock comp. Well the other day I opened it up again and was at 123mph when I let off, then I was like what the hay and hit it, 125... 125....! Went tot 127, but it was beyond slow after 124mph.

This car moves pretty well, I dont have any problems with my friends LT1 Camaro and in the same section of road my old Taurus SHO would run 95mph this thing ran 105mph, it runs like a beast right to 124mph. Then it's just a wall, in D or in 3, it acts the same way, any ideas here?

Nah, if it has a limiter then it would flat out stop at a certain speed.

Huh, so it's not me. Kind of dissapointing as I was able to hit 130mph down hill in my old 91 2.2L Accord 5spd, and was able to get over 140mph in my SHO's. This would destroy my SHO's to 124mph, but would suck to get walked after that. (lots of straights out here in the country)

Yeah, thats how it should be, with the mods I got done to the car 140mph shouldn't even be an issue, should be over 150mph capable. It's really confusing to me, but I don't go out and test these speeds often as it's only safe to do that in a few places. Next time I head out to my friends I will have to watch my rpms and give it a run in D then in 3. But if I do remember right the rpms were not very low, something like 4k - 5k.

For sure, but really is it that bad. Just makes me feel sad that my 2.2L bone Stock Accord could reach those speeds, and my SHO would pass 124mph pretty easily and go to 140+ mph.

it doesnt matter what speed it will reach, it matters how fast it will reach that speed. ;-)

I agree for the most part as this is the quickest car I have had. So the comparison to my Accord is a bit rough, but my SHO was no slouch, that had no problem hitting those speeds. But not much I can go, gotta get my 3.5" pulley on sometime.

I can run right up to 140mph. After that, however, reaching 150 takes a little time.

These cars have no top end. Cams help some and turbo's of course, but generally these cars don’t have much power going over 110.

It sucks, but its not you will be racing people much faster than that and if you are. You’re stupid to do that on the street.

HAI and mufflers, with a boost guage. My 97 GTP would run just the same.

The Cutty would pull good through about 140, and then fall off. I need/ed to get rid of the stock exhaust manifolds, and do some more tuning.
