I've know that GCP has regional clubs and forums setup. One is the UNYCGP which covers upstate NY but is heavily made up of Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo area people with a smattering of Southern Tier guys - like me.

I've also seen some postings for GPOFL or Grand Prixs of Florida.

Would it be out of line if I tried to form an informal group called GPONY - or Grand Prixs of New York - I'm thinking of hosting some events like cookouts or cruise-ins at various venues around Central NY. Places like the A&W drive-in in Cortland, Sonic in Binghamton, Chucksters (new mini-golf, rock-climbing place) in Vestal, etc.

I won't do a thing unless you guys say it is alright.
