Recently installed a new PCM and I'm looking for a shop that can do the CASE Learn procedure. I called up Ourisman Chevy and they said it would be a minimum of 1 hour labor to use the Tech II.

Any suggestions? All a shop would need is a Tech II scanner right?

You don't need to do a case learn on the 04's.

I thought that was for the '97 cars. In any case, I'm not throwing a code and it's driving fine. It's an Intense/DHP tune. The instructions stated that all cars will benefit from the CASE Learn. If it's not necessary, I can put it off then. Thanks!

Charging an hour labor for something that takes a couple of minutes is ridiculous though.

I never had to do one with my intense pcm, and if you aren't throwing a code don't worry about it.

You will know if you have to do a case relearn. If it doesn't turn over and the security thing is flashin at you, do a case learn.
