Holy Crap!!

I just put Royal Purple in and my car loves it. I'm sure part of it has to do with just being fresh oil, but my car feel awesome with it in.

i'm sure you have used synthetic before, i at least hope you did, or the "sludge" could clean up and start leaks

now you know why i put royal in everything

So switching to this or other synthetics could be harmful if not previously used?

no you don't want to completely flush out the old stuff too quick

so i went and did my truck over 5 oil changes slowly bumping up the amount and grade of synthetic until it was full on

the problem is synthetic runs clean and has a detergent in it
if your engine has any unknown leaks or what not, by cleaning the sludge blocking the leaks you therefore make the leak appear. but at least seafoam if you don't want to slowly transition

I had been running synthetic for a while before putting in Royal Purple so there won't be any issues there.

very good

would suck to drop in expensive oil to find leaks

i started runnin royal purple 2 changes ago.. started at about 40k miles.. so far no leaks, i dont have alot of miles but eitherway good to know i dont have leaks... yet... lol

and as for differences? i did experience differences but they werent all that noticeable..
first was the shifting.. car shifts very smoothly, next im not sure if it was the rp but the engine just seems meaner, idk how to explain it lol but it just felt a bit stronger like it could take a nice beating hahaha
maybe it was just the smooth shifts at wot ;-)
