Well whatever record I had in the GP's has been totally demolished. I did the first oil change in the Jeep recently and it was the fastest and cleanest oil change I have ever done. First off I don't need to drive it up on ramps I just need to shimmy around the front differential to get to the oil pan. But that's all I need to do from below. The oil filter is on top of the engine so I wrench off the cap and remove it and the filter comes out with it. It's literally like a 5 inch x 1.5 inch canister filter. Pull that off, throw on a new supplied gasket pop on the new filter and drop it in the hole and tighten it. 6 quarts even instead of balancing out 4.5. I did the oil when the engine was still pretty damn hot and never got a drop on me. I was blown away with how simple and clean it was.

I usually take around 30-40 minutes, but I take my sweet ass time and am usually doing something else when it is draining and don't get back to it the second it stops.

Old thread but hey, I'll throw my #'s out there: start to finish, around 3 hours. :-)

Every 3,000 miles:
Oil change (includes putting GP on jack stands)
Tire rotation
Tire pressure inspection (includes the spare tire)
Clean the inside of the rims
Suspension inspection
Brake inspection
Trans fluid inspection
Power steering fluid inspection
Coolant fluid inspection
Brake fluid inspection
Air filter inspection
Windshield washer fluid inspection
Any other miscellaneous checks / inspections as things are noticed during the above points
