Ive had my underhood fuel pump fuse blow out on me 3 times this week.

The first time was on tuesday, make a semi sharp left and the car died.

second and third times were today, first time was doign about 10mph in a stright line in a parking lot, and the second was about 15 seconds later making a left onto the main road.

Anyone have idea ideas other then wire tracing and checking the entire harness?

Maybe a bad pump? Drawing to much power?

a bad pump or the wire coating is damaged and grounding out or the tank as been out and the pump harness has been pinched.. the only way to find out for sure is to trace the wires and go from there.

I'd suspect the pump first, but while you're back there, check the harness as well.

No No don't think its the pump right away thats how people get in over there heads they don't check the small shit first like the wiring and what not. check the wiring first and go from there.

Well, I would think its the pump. BUT, I would check the wiring first to rule that out.

well it lasted just fine through the autox

but when i whent to start it up today it woudlnt start, any time clicked the key over it would cut power to all the instruments and then the relays under the hood would go nuts. after i pulled the couple relays i thought were the culprits it still was acting up so i got online to see what i could dig up. then my girlfriend when to show my roomate what was going on and BAM, fires right up.

so... any ideas other the funky wiring
