In my Volvo. Man, that was fun. LOL. I had to do it a little different, since I couldn't get the brake booster line off. I did it through the PCV. The benefit, I'm hoping, is that it was ingested before the throttle body, so I hope that it ended up cleaning up the throttle body, and the intake manifold, too. I have more throttle response, and it seems to pull a little harder, and we'll see if it helps with fuel mileage. It idles A LOT better. Oh...and it made one heck of a smoke show. Even got so bad that it was coming through the air vents inside the car!

Now, to hope and pray that replacing the tailshaft seal fixes the transmission leak...of a quart a day!

Wow, and I thought I had it bad when I seafoamed the GA for the first time in its 165000 miles. Lets just say campers in the area were staring... But it was not enough to come through the vents! LMAO How many miles are on it?
Also I hope you solved your transmission leak!

Car has 283,000 miles. The tailshaft seal gets replaced on Wednesday. The cylinder head only had 32,000 miles on it, and when we replaced it, the pistons were clean. I don't know how things look now, of course. But, I will be doing it again...the right way this coming weekend.

Well, I put miles on it, and yeah...it is MUCH better. I can't believe how much it helped the throttle response. I may do it the way I did it again, just to further clean up the upper intake tract, including the throttle body. Fuel mileage seems to have improved as well. I may dump a can in the tank as well to clean up the pumps and the injectors. This car is becoming fun again.

Haha dang, any problems occur from using seafoam? I've heard mixed reviews.

I'd rather not wait until the car really needs it. I did notice some small improvements.

That's true, guess it can't hurt to do it. Do you have to get seafoam online?

yea.... Not like it destroys your catalytic converter or anything ;). But its great to do when you need it! One of the better induction services you can perform and probably the simplest.

i just steamed my engine.
