Plenty of Pontiac's were there to represent, not so much on the GP part Ken from the GPforums.net was there with me, but that was about it. A majority of the G8 owners talked to me a bit, told me they'd upgraded, but still loved the GP's.

If I were going to get a new Camaro it would be Inferno Orange with black stripes. The cruise ins last year weren't overrun with the new Camaros like I expected them to be. They were, however, overun with 1st gen Camaros and 2nd and 3rd gen firebirds and T/As. Everyone and their brother around here either has a 1st gen Camaro or a 70-92 T/A. They're neat cars, don't get me wrong, but they get old after a while. I'll probably have the only 2nd gen Camaro at most of the cruise ins here in town this year. I had the only 3rd gen at several of them last year but I sold the IROC so unless the new owner brings her down from Nashville I won't ever see her again. The newer Mopars (mainly the Challenger and Charger) are way overplayed around here as well (Magnums would add a nice touch but nobody ever shows up with them). Vettes always show up in force as well but there is a great spread of years so it's not as boring with them.

I wish my 73 was painted already but nope. I'm gonna have to get another car before I can even think of painting it.

Kendra if you ever move down here we'll have to take a road trip to Louisville. One of my good friends has one of the most beautiful cars I have ever laid eyes on. Another friend up there has a gorgeous late 2nd gen as well. Steve likes to invite all the 2nd gen guys over which is a lot of fun.
