Only reason it's a small photoshoot was I'm still learning my Camera and the GTP wasn't as clean as it should've been, I did my best. But being a gimp tires me out pretty quick. Plus I still can't bend my bad knee so getting on the ground isn't a good idea. I took about 80 shots, but most of them were taken when the sun was still too high, so thus, bleached. Not my best set, but I think the last shot should make up for it ;)

While I know ya'll don't like a 'Stang... I told my friend that if he wanted photos, to come. So it gave the GTP some good contrast ;) These are all JPEG, I'll convert to PNG when I get some sleep, however, the last picture is PNG.

I plan on cleaning up the GTP some more and get you all more that I'm more proud to share :) I should have more from my friend as well, he was snapping away too.

Cleaning it up some more???? From those pics it doesn't look like there's anything left to do!

One of the best GPs I've seen.

Thanks for the feedback guys! As for being clean enough...never give an OCD person a black car. It's never clean enough

I mostly used Meguiar's products. They're reasonable in price and while it doesn't last as long as Adam's or ZAINO does, it still gives an undeniable satisfactory result and nearly defect free.

NXT Wash.
Clay Bar & NXT Detail Spray
If the paint needs any correction I use M205 on a cerulean buffer pad. M105 will marr the paint so I won't use it on the GTP. Works wonders on my Dakota, but not the GTP.
Then Meguiar's Carnuba Wax, 2-4 coats depending on time.

I haven't found a polish I like yet, I wasn't happy with how the Meguiar's Polish treated the paint. I may just try Adam's to see if I like it.

I bought ZAINO, but haven't had the time (or energy at this point) to try it.

Awesome GTP! That last pic is really cool. The GTP looks pretty clean to me

I'd like to see the Dakota too. I used to have a '97 Ram 1500 Sport which i traded in for my GP.

My brother uses Adams and he gets great results and I use Zaino and get great results as well. Zaino just lasts longer. Adams likes to smell good and they are easy to apply and remove. Zaino is faily easy to remove as long as you do thin coats of it.

From what I'm reading, Meg's 105/205 combo with the correct pads are what most people recommend. 105 dusts a lot from what I heard, but Megs makes the "Ultimate Compound" which has almost as much cut as #105, but dusts less......plus it is sold at Walmart, Advanced, Pep Boys, Autozone, etc.

I am so happy that the car is getting that kind of treatment. I bought the car 7 years ago this month and once I got that new hood, I started detailing it like crazy. The last year of ownership, being a daddy took over so my attention shifted. I'm so glad that the "legacy" that car has lives on under your supervision. You make me proud! :-)

lovin the GP and you should give adams a try. Adams isnt only for smell good and ease of use but they also offer products that offer great protection also. I use americana premium paste from them granted its a 70$ jar of wax its extremly easy to use and offers great depth and shine and offers great protection. On that note you GP is one of my favorites and I want your wheels badly! Your car is why I wanted those wheels so bad but now they are no longer available :( Keep up the good work!

I think that’s what I messed up with on Zaino, I put too thick a coat on. I had a hard time getting it off and it ticked me off  So I’ll try a thinner coat next time. I got the “Show kit” for I think it was $89 or something; figured I could start somewhere and I really liked how the GTP looked when you owned it.

M105 does dust… a lot. It’s quite a nuisance really whereas the 205 doesn’t hardly dust at all and does an excellent job without so much cutting. May not get 100% correction, but pretty darn close.

This car has really turned me about with detailing, I went from thinking I cared about cars to “Oh my gosh I neglected my GT compared to this!” It’s such a privilege to own the GTP and it gets plenty of attention in and out of car shows. It really is a lot of fun and I’m definitely honored to hear I make you poud!

I will agree their products smell very good. I got a sample bottle of their “Bold and Bright” tire shine and love the smell of it. Thanks about the GP in general, Dave did a great job deciding on what upgrades to do with it. I’m just fortunate to continue keeping it up :)

Nope, just drive with them like that. The only window I ever have all the way down is the driver's when I'm driving. The rest are down the same amount. Just didn’t adjust them when I took the pictures.

The funny thing is ,when people say,"what a shiny car".
Then you look at them with a puzzled look and say ahh its dirty.
There's more to the shine on the car,its protected...

hehe, I get that a lot at the Cruise-In's. When they tell me it looks clean and shiny I often have to bite my lip because I'd be like "I don't know what you're talking about, it's dirty!" but like I said earlier... Never give an OCD person a black car, it'll never be clean or shiny enough :D
