I enter my car for all Pontiac car show on June 13th in Ohio. I miss whole car show last year during engine removed for polish look. I don't want to miss other car show because of my new MPD F1 hood which it is primer black color. I decide to take it off and put it on hold until it get paint first. Driving my silver car with black hood is screaming for ricer in my opinion. Actually, Reds fan told me it is very ricer when I park my car at work. I told him it will paint because I just got it. He says good choice lol...

After gave her a bath and detailing some engine work last weekend. So I decide to take a picture of no hood shot. I think it is pretty sweet. Now my old silver PFYC hood is back on this car. Much better. I can't wait for car show soon in June. It should be blast time.

After car show, I will have to remove the "Pontiac" decal. Left arrowheard & "PONT" are getting fade away :(

Coming soon on my car trunk lid. :D It will be there on Wednesday from delivery but I will be gone in MI for Memorial Day weekend vacation. I will install them on first weekend of June later. It is match to my custom black carpet. I also have silver grand prix letter on black floor mats which it is pretty much same as trunk lid cover. Can't wait to see final result later. Big gulp for drilling lol

I like that hood. Definitely needs to be painted body color, though.

Speedball: It is polish look. Not chrome ;)

Thanks guys. I like new hood since it is OEM frame. It does fit better than PYFC hood as I know it is not perfect for everyone who own that hood. I will have honeycomb grille on my hood to match upper & lower grille. It is still currently working on it and of course it will paint to match rest of body. Can't wait to see finished result later.

Anthony: you have CF hood which it is fine. Mine is just black that screaming for ricer like all Honda do. lol

Thank guys. I love this look. I wish I could driving that car without hood. Road stone could kill polish engine for sure

People really like my car in gas station. Everytime I pop the hood for them to see it. They went like holy shit! wow!!! ooh my god! That's bad ass! It never get old.

i have driven my car about 3 hours, (lake michigan to detroit) with no hood and i got some good looks and almost scared ppl with the blower whine..(much louder with no hood) but mine didnt look nearly as good as yours.. yours has to be one of the cleanest (and most polished) engine bays i have seen.

lol that's funny. I did that once for 2 hours drive. I have daily driving car which hood look like it was hit by hail. Anyway, I got F1 hood on my summer car. I moved my old summer stock hood (very nice shape) to my daily driving car. This local guy want that hood for custom make. Probably scoop on it to hide dent in middle. I don't have a truck. So I drove my car to his house to open the hood out. Then drive home with no hood. People are looking at me like weird like I really drive that car with no hood? lol I think I need to remove my hood. Sunny + polish engine = blind people

It remind me that Honda ricer drive no hood in my old apt. He drive like that... in rain, sunny and whatever. I guess he can't afford hood.

yep that is why i did it.. i was buying some fiberglass scoops and for coming to get them i gave me the extra hood he was gonna put them on and i didnt feel like the bad mileage of my truck so i took mine off and drove over and put the other on and put the scoops in the back seat and came home..
