Me and my dad picked it out for my birthday on amazon.com. It MSRP's at around 250 but it was on sale for about 180 and it does require a micro sd card in order to save its pictures.

What kind of camera? Depending on what it was, $550 might have been a steal. Nomally, most wedding photographers have really nice cameras. The cameras I have cost $2000, but the wedding guys in the area usually have the big brother of my cameras that cost around $3500.

Im not sure what exact one it was, but he had just bought one that cost 3200 and had no use for the other one, so he put it up for sale, he had it listed at 750 and had a few extra lenses with it, but was gonna help me out, but since I didnt have that money either I had to pass, but I really want one now again, that was about a year ago

Sounds like his new camera may be a Canon 5DmkII or one of the expensive Nikons. I use Canons, so I'm not familar with the Nikon models.

Practically the cheapest you can buy haha. Every one hears what they are and is like oh their crap go flow masters. Personally i prefer the tone of these and you done hear em on many GPs. Their Thrush turbo mufflers. about 25 dollars on summit racing.com

Its been painted just satin black Krylon spray paint. Of course i took it off to paint it but I always have had good luck with Krylon. And no the tips where sold to me at the shop by the guy who did my exhaust. no way to know what brand they are but they get the job done.

well the lower lip usually does have 2 pins you have to pull out which takes a fair amount of force then you have to pop out a dozen or so tabs along the top of the lip as you pull down on it to remove it. Takes about a minute to pull off.

Im deciding where to go with the car after lowering springs if any where. Definatly planning on installing GT fogs to compensate for the light output lost by running with the covers on at night. Its livable with my HIDs but akin to weak halogen output. In any case I know your a picture guru Kendra can you give me any tips or hints to getting even better photos? I been slowly getting better with angles and vehicle placement and back grounds. I also am going to start playing with photo editing soft ware soon. But if there is anything Im not doing that could make these pictures better please let me know.

 Wow what a compliment

You've actually got some good material from the get-go.

You mainly want to avoid clutter/distraction in your pictures. You want the viewer to isntantly look at your picture, not some green/red "loud" object, such as the picture I took of my Sedan. I got "This one sucks..." from my Dad because his eye instantly went to the bright green canopy.
Image

Shot #3 is a great angle to be at. You've got your wheels turned right (that's a big deal) When you're shooting from the front of your car, always, always, always have the rim face facing you (as you have in your round of shots)

Stay almost eye-level with your car or above. Such as these:
Image

Image

Most of all take TOO many pictures. In truth you can never take too many. To give you a general idea I'll take 80-100 pictures of the Sedan, but only show GPONA about 12 if even that. Read up on your camera and read up online to better hone your skills with your camera. Work on your camera more-so on AUTO until you are comfortable with your camera or that it isn't giving you the results you want, then you can start reading up on how to tweak your aperature/shutter speed/etc. I'm still learning these with mine.

Play with angles, you'll know when you've overdone an angle when you are tilting your head and giving yourself a crick in your neck ;)

This one I took has a little too much angle:
Image

This one is better, but I could've gotten away with a little more:
Image

Try and avoid trees as much as you can. Trees make for a lot of noise on your paint and distracts the actual "beauty" of the car. Trees in the background are perfectly fine, but try not to put your car under them like I did here:

Image
(This is like a 3+ year old picture)

Most of all AVOID direct sunlight if you can. Take your pictures early in the morning or as the sun in starting to set. Not only do you acquire gorgeous colors on a "vibrant" sunset/sunrise, but it is also gentler on your car and the actually "glare" factors.

Direct sunlight (again 3+ year old shot)
Image

While this is still a little too early in the "sunset" part of the day, I got away with more given the cloud coverage.
Image

I think that covers the basics, if not, I'll be back :D
