I call 'em rare pictures. Why? Because it's only one of the few times I get around to taking pictures of the '00 Daytona with all doors, hood, and trunk closed..LOL Enjoy!

:roll: Not decals... You're looking at House of Kolor air-brushed graphics color matched to the Daytona side flag with 5-6 coats of clear wet sanded down after each coat... ...

Better than any decals you can have made..LOL...

No... I had to get someone with connections to help pin down what number of the 2000 my Daytona is... Saleen Mustangs do this, so I thought ummmm why not add the number on the bumper ?

Ha Thanks, But I think I have seen better Daytonas than mine.. LOL.. Jim Smith and George T. Actual Pace car Daytonas and one of Jim Smiths 98' GTX Pace car.. Those are NICE. (With the full graphics and strobe packages..)

I've got more visual work in store for the engine compartment. Just need to get things done. and cough up the dough to "git r done"...
I need a nice engine compartment to complete with "GR8racingfool"

:twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

You must be single to be able to afford all that cool stuff.

I just spent a grand on a new floor for the living room. I'll post pics of that ;

Ummm well no.. I'm married with 2 kids... It's hard , Most of the mods on the Daytona were done back when my wife was working as an RN, we had extra money to do stuff like that ... Now that she is having to file for disability, It's ROUGH... I'm holding my own with the house and whatnot.. But modding the GP's has come to a screeching halt until the $$ situation improves. I can still affrord to go to a car show every now and then.. .But not like we used to.

Thanks Misted...
Well, I looked at the ones NASCAR made for the GP's, Matched the font (Goodtimes) and the height of the letters, then had 3 sets custom made. When I placed it on the windshield, I did so measuring not once, but twice, and three times getting it centered edge to edge. Taped it down at the center with a 1/2" gap between the top of the paper and the top molding. then as I worked toward each end, I cut slits in the paper between the letters and taped them down at the top so the 1/2" margin was maintained all across the windshield. Then I put each letter down one at a time while the tops were still taped in place. It's a very hard and time consuming process...But the result are worth it.
