Sorry it took so long to see this, been kinda crazy lately. Those fender vents were initially offered on the 79 Z28. Is it a Type LT/Z28 or just a regular Z? Pic isn't big enough for me to see the front marker lights to tell. I eventually want to have one of every sub-generation within the 2nd gens (already have my 73, just need a big bumper and a urethane bumper). The 73 will likely stay with the stock motor but my next two 2nd gens will have modern EFI swaps. One probably an LS2 or a 6L truck motor and the other an L67 (or L32) just to see what I can do with it.

No it was just a regular Z. Then I completely redesigned & modified it. Full frame, suspension etc... Fender vents (heat extrators) I added later.
