Hello everyone! My name is Norm.

I ran across this forum while searching for some information about my wife's 2000 Grand Prix GT. We just bought the car this past week to replace her aging Taurus. It's got a couple of small issues that look like they won't be too difficult to address, but to be honest, I'm not very familiar with the workings of newer cars with alot of electronics. I've worked on many, older traditional Pontiac's my whole life, and that's where mechanical experience lies.
I have been trying to find some Factory Service Manuals in my attempt to educate myself. Saw a 3 volume set on eBay, but wasn't sure what the going price was for them

I'm hoping I can find a little guidance and advice from owners that have knowledge of these cars, and hope to share any advice or knowledge that I might have.

Welcome. If you wanted to save some cash, we have a GM service manual up at the top of the page. Has a lot of great info in there.

It's a great source. A little trick to work but easy enough to figure out if you play around with it. If you're looking for anything in particular just let me or someone else know and we could look it up or probably even know of other write ups/DIY's laying around here somewhere.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I looked through the the Service Manual link last night. Yeah, a little hard to navigate but I was able to learn a few things that I didn't know of before. I'm going to post in the 97-03 section with a few of my issues with the car.
