I can't believe I never heard of this forum since I have a Grand Prix and a G8. Thanks to MAYBEN for telling me about it.

Originally from Staten Island, NY but have been in Tampa, FL for the past 13 years. Pretty awesome I can go to one forum for both cars!

(Maybe I should resize my signature pic, lol)

Thanks again.

I'm glad there's a more active GP forum because I'd like to see what kind of used mods I can pick up for cheap to start dropping that pulley size, lol.

I did see those in the for sale section. Thanks, but as far as the Grand Prix is concerned, I'm only looking for performance mods and on the cheap. I gots ta reserve everything else for the G8, lol. I had dreams for the GP but I pounched on a great deal for the G8 back in Jan. 09 and loving every bit of it.

What part of Staten Island? I was born in Prince's Bay literally a 5 minute walk from the hospital and grew up in Great Kills.

If you want cheap mods.... Speed daddy headers is the way to go.

Yeah the prices have climbed a bit, but still good, cheap V8 power. Mine was $20K w/ 13,500 but yours sounds like a good deal for the current pricing.

I checked out the Speed Daddy headers. I lied. I don't want cheap mods, lol. Actually I do, but I don't know about mild steel. Are there other higher quality steel headers? I know of TOG's but I know they're on the higher end.

Were you looking to mod the G8?

Evenually... I just want to beef up everything else before spending it on gas money, lmao. In a few more weeks a Oz company is coming out with a unit to replace the climate controls so we can get aftermarket double dins.

Cool, there's definitely a lot of stuff out there, and you don't have to worry to much about KR or forging internals, lol.

Yeah if there is a local Tampa area meet, I'll bring my G8, lol. Might be too loud for his taste though.

Yeah I noticed that. I thought clubgp was the place to be, but its always dead and no L32 parts. I feel like the G8 V6 guys, since the aftermarket sucks for them, lol. It's nice to have an LS series engine.

Thanks to everyone else for the warm welcome.
