Hello everyone my name is Ken and i just bought a 2004 GTP about a month ago and just wanted to introduce my self and ask a couple of questions. When i bought the car it looked stock except for the wheels and i almost didnt buy it due to the wheels cause i have a strict dont buy a modded car rule but the price was right and i love the car, two weeks later i noticed the trans acting funny so i took it back to carmax and they had aamco  do the rebuild (still under warranty). I just got it back on monday and i still notice that under boost the car starts studdering unless i ease into it so i plan on changing the stock plugs and wires, but just the other day i was installing an open cone filter on the end of the maf and i noticed the suoercharger pulley dosnt quite look stock so i did a quick search on here and found out how to measure it and low and behold its not stock its a 3.4 pulley. So my question is what do i need to do to make this safe for the motor?? I know there is no exhaust work done and i assume its not been tuned (prolly why i have the issues while boosting)

heres some pics of the car, so far i have installed a spectre open cone, avs headlight covers, and tinted the fog lights yellow

You can take off the pulley and install a stock 3.8 pulley to make it safe. If you want to run that pulley you will need....headers, rockers or cam, tune, cooler range spark plugs (autolite 104 coppers), and 180 degree thermostat.

thanks for the info.......it will be coming off in that case, i have an extended warranty with carmax that i dont want to screw up especially since who knows how long that pulley has been on there in its mostly stock state and who knows if/how much damage its already done to the motor

You also have silver Spo grilles.

A tune based on your current mods will help with slight hesitation... It did for me anyways...

Play it safe and remove that pulley for the time being.
