Hello all,

I am a new member from Illinois. I have a 2005 Grand Prix GTP, all stock no mods. I stumbled across this forum by accident searching for how to replace the shift indicator bulb. Thanks to you guys here it is now done, it had been burnt out for about a year now. This is the third Grand Prix I have owned.

My first was a 74 Grand Prix SJ 455 4BBL White over White. Not fast off the line, but man would she fly. I would love to have this one back. I really wanted to buy a restored one like it, but my wife said no go, so we bought a 69 Firebird instead.

My second was a 91~ Grand Prix SE. POS 3.1 engine. I was glad to see that one go.

My third is the 2005 GTP. When signing the papers at the dealership (it was used) I found out it had never been titled. It was a company car used by a GM executive. I bought it with 20K miles on it, it now has 90K miles. I have been fixing small things on it now. I just finished replacing the front hubs. It needs a brake upgrade, which I plan on doing before spring. This car is fun to drive! The plan is my 13 yr daughter can drive it when she turns 16. She really does not like it, but I bet when the time comes her opinion will change.
