Good morning to everyone.

I just purchased an 07 Grand Prix GT - clean and fast.

I would like to start some simple repairs, including the driver's heated seat and some LED's that need replacing in the HVAC controls.

Is there a GM Service Manual located on this forum for our cars?

Thank you for your help and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Warren

Hey Warren welcome to the forum and no problem. If you have questions about anything don't hesitate to ask. Although I must ask, where in Western NY are you?

Hello guys (and gals!) and thank you for the warmest of welcomes!

I have always been a "GM" guy and have always driven Chevys. My first was an '89 S-10 Blazer (2 door), followed by an '80 Z28 (which I still own) and most recently, a 1998 Chevy Tahoe (2 door), which I just "traded in" to get my 07 GP GT. I have a special place in my heart for Ponchos, as part of my family owned a dealership...loooong ago.

I'm in the Buffalo area currently but I grew up in the CNY area (Utica-ish) so it looks like we have some things in common.

Let me ask: what is the biggest "pain" or "pain-in-the-ass" I can expect w/ my new car?

Thanks everyone!

BIG PROBLEMS? Mmmm... transmission but only after like 120,000 they tipilcally break down on u. Other than that its small stupid things like LIM gasket, coolant elbows, reaching the power steering fluid tank, Headlights get small cracks, can't really thing Of anything else

Thanks, Anthony. Is there a write-up or how-to about the lower intake gasket? Seems this issue follows me around, since my Tahoe was leaking in the same general area.

You have a nice ride - really like the hood. I'm debating what to do to mine, since I'm enjoying the stock as it is...but we know it's never easy to leave well-enough alone!

Hey out of curiosity where in Buffalo, depending on how things pan out in the next few weeks I might be heading up there periodically for the thing we call female :) She goes to Medaille University up there, it's right off of 33. I saw a nice gold GP there earlier on in the year that had se front and rear. Left a note on his window but don't think he joined the forum here.

Medaille is a good school and actually I know a few people who went there! I know how the female thing works too, hehe...I actually moved out here to be with mine.

I know this isn't the tech section...but...I've noticed that upon starting my car, my radio will reset itself to another station, ie, one that I had NOT set it to. Ever had this happen? Keep in mind, it has been about 10 degrees here.

Warren, you might want to join up on our facebook page for the PA Wbody Syndicate. We have meets and a couple race events in the warm weather. We plan to have an event at Lucky City Dragway this year and I think that would be pretty close for you.

Cool, we should get together sometime while I'm up there. Maybe come out to Rekkios bar and bowling alley one night with us. I'm good friends with the bouncers there.
