well.. actually kentucky... but its right across the river..

anyways.. some know me .. some don't.. been around forever tho.

I have worked for DHP since 2005 doing helpdesk and shipping of PCM's (dont yell to much) and work on side project called UVSCAN http://www.uvscanning.com

Currently own two 98 gtps, one is a fake GTX, the other one is basically back to stock other then a 3.4" and s1x cam in it as the only mods.. and some pcm tweaks to run 87. The GTX is the wife's car :roll: with a MAP IC recored by PRJ, GENV, N*, PRJ Tranny (3.29, intense IS, ati 3000, blah), 3.0" , togs, 3"/2.25" exhuast, racetronix pump, gauges, blah... and soon wideband finally! and double roller chain...

Before these I owned a 94 gtp and 90 GP SE.... with just chips and ghetto intakes..

I'll be visiting this forum more often as i like what i've seen so far.

the car has had a slipping tranny for pass few years real bad, that ive just been putting off, as it has close to 180k miles on the car.. and I no longer race it.. just point A > B car... basically dropped fuel a little and timing by quite a bit. I have a TEP pully system so 3.4" was the biggest i could go back to... the S1X cam helps out a bit too with the setup. I do have the top of the air box off the also, if thats really a mod... Otherwise I just cruise around to work and back, and save my self a whole 20 cents a gallon. I can't go over 30-40% throttle do to the slipping, so as long as it keeps moving, ill keep it in there..

if the tranny wasnt slipping, would there be a performance difference between a stock gt on 87octane and a gtp on 87octane? i.e. knock etc

the only reason i have a gt is gas prices. i would love to have a gtp haha
