Hello all. Ive been lurking here for a few weeks and figured it was about time I register. Ive been into cars, racing & modding my whole life. After wasting huge money on my last car, then wrecking it, ive kinda been out of the whole car scene for a while. But... it appears as if im back! I just picked up an 07 silver GXP at a local auction, assuming its mechanically sound ill be driving it in the next day or so. Mods will come accordingly. Right now im planing on hitting some basics right off the bat. That would include intake, tune, exhaust, tail light tints, window tint, and hids. Ive got some questions as far as headers and spray goes on these cars...hopefully you all can help with that. Anyways...

Heres a little info about my fav rides thusfar, a long with pix and videos (added as i find them):

When I was 16 I picked up a 2000 grand prix gtp coupe, daytona 500 edition. I spent about 7k on modding the car up until the time i sold her. I believe mod list was as follows: intake, TB spacer, pully drop, tune, full custom exhaust, various other little stupid engine mods (thermostat, wiring, etc). Aesthetically i put some nice wheels, tires, halo fogs, hids, tint, gauges, altezza tails, diff emblems on her. It was a great car to have as a kid, TONs of great memories in that thing. Here is a link to my ancient cardomain page:

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/669805/20 ... grand-prix

Few years and rides later I traded up a charcoal 2003 Silverado 2500 4x4 ext cab. I had every bolton you could imagine, a train horn, hids, a built front end, diff headlights, grille, tail lights, badging, tint. The thing was an absolute monster and ran like a raped ape from 0-60. Boosted 4x4 launches are most def. for the win. I miss it everyday and will purchase another in the future. I was tboned by an 11th grader on xanax leaving a mall.. it slightly bent the frame and deturred any plans for a tranny build. Ive got no pictures of it hosted at the moment but here is a youtube link to an old video of it, a boosted s2k, and a cammed camaro SS: http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&client ... ileflash=0
Pardon my obnoxiousness hahaha. Its a mobile link but should work.

Last on the list and the shitbox that did it for me was a 2005 subaru legacy gt. I dumped 25k into modding it, i did everything you could imagine short of building the block...put a 3 grand brake system, full exterior mods, L7 bading... It was a really fun car, when it worked. No one knew what it was, it was damn quick, drove real well and sounded sexy. The pos was in the shop every other month though. So many issues i cant begin to list em. All that ended with a 4 car wreck, i sold the car for peanuts with a nearly toasted auto tranny and all smashed up. Sigh.

Anyways, its nice to be here.

The Impala SS is a good car and my parts will fit on that one too.

cheers! i dont remember you all being so welcoming back in the day lol.

ive got a tranny cooler, hids and a new grill ordered for the car and i pick her up in less than 24 hours... ida really liked a gxp over the impala, but things happen for a reason and i practically stole the car for what i paid. For a DD its right on the money!

returning to fwd is awesome in a lol kinda way. after a few years of boosted awd whips (a6 sline, legacy gt & dramax), then a boring suv, it feels silly to drive a decently powered car that fights with you like this. i feel fast and furious all over again.
