Wheels!

I want to put aftermarket wheels for the summer with a summer tire.

Anyone have pics with aftermarket wheel set ups...

Love to see them all
I would like to fit torque thrust wheels onto my black GXP .. any1 have a pic of this or something close... even a impala/bonne/4door sedan alike with them would help!

thanks so much

-Jason

For my GXP, I went with 19x8.5 Moda MD3 Chrome wrapped in 245/40R-19 Continental ExtremeContact DWS

There's a GXP running Torques, I just can't seem to find it right now.

Found something close enough, he borrowed his friend's Mustang Bullitt wheels, while his were being powdercoated.

I don't have pictures just now, but can get them if need be.... What about the 18" Bullits from a Mustang? There is a red '99 GTP around the KC area that has them, and it looks great. Worth a look, if they're not more expensive than the Torque thrusts.

Just to be clear those are off of a 96-98 Cobra Mustang. Parents used to have a 96 Cobra. So even though mine is an 02 I could go say buy some Ford Racing FR500 wheels for my 02 GT and they would work just fine? Say I got the 18x9 would they stick out or anything

Yea, sorry, I meant the polished alluminum or chrome ones (don't know which they are). They add a different look than the powdercoated ones.

Sorry for the brain fart.

If you plan to use mustang wheels, the 05+ have the proper offset. They are usually around +36mm which fits the grand prix. The previous generation mustang has the lower offset, around +24mm. That will stick out some past the fenders. The bullits posted above are 17's. The factory bullits are only available in 17's.

i love it when the wheels stick out just a little from the fenders. my wheels have a 40mm offset, and i wish they were just a tad farther out....lol. oh, and i've been running 114.3 for a while now, and no probs.
