Can we run the 255/45/18's in the rear also,It's not too much tire for the 18X7's is it? Because a full set of the 255's are actually cheaper than 2-255's & 2-225's.

I guess... why not all of them 245s?

Remember, if you have GXP wheels, there are front and rear assigned wheels. Different offsets.

It would be a one time expense but I would go with a set of 18x8 wheels all around so I could run the 255s. But thats mostly because I prefer a wheel with lip on the outside vs a flat faced wheel.

If you could get your hands on set of front GXP wheels I cant imagine why they wouldnt fit on the rear. The offset will be different simply because they are an inch narrower, so the distance from centerline would be less.

bigwheels.net lists a 34-45 offset range for the car, so an 18x8 wheel with a 35-42 offset should fit nicely.

When we got our car, Gm certified used, it had 255 and front wheels on all four corners. No real issues, except after about a month we hit the road with 4 adults and luggage for a week in the trunk. When you would hit a bump the rear tire would rub the fender lip.

After complaing to the dealership the changed them out for us.....so yeah, as long as you don't load up the rear, no issues. Didn't drive it long/hard enough during that first month to tell if any difference in handling for the better or worse.
