So i have been emailing and calling several aftermarket groups about different products from exhaust to intakes to grills. Now im after superchargers for these cars. The companys have said they need from 100 to 150 interested people. With there being the GXP's MCSS and ISS i think this is possible. This setup that im going after woudl be air to water intercooled, and have alot better fit, finish, intall than the current turbo setups offered to us. Let me know what u think. Currently im only on the Grand Prix forums, but i will be joining the others to gauge there interste aswell.

I'd love a s/c, been thinking about calling around myself, but funds are short... But who knows how long it would take, I may come into some by then ;-)

right now prolly isnt the best time to try and get interest. the economy blows ass right now. id say wait until it bounces back then try and gain interest.

Ya i know its not the best time to get everyone all ready to go and buy one today. Even if there was people ready to buy today and they started the production process aswell as the R&D. That would take atleast 3 months. So this is just about getting everyones interest for when things turn up. We would be ready to go forward. As far as trans holding i have no idea. Trannyman can bulild a tranny that will hold up. That weighs on my mind 2. but stock power just isnt enough for me. Plus i live in colorado and with the extra altitude N/A power just isnt as fun, as hearing a charger wine with V8 overtones over a 11,000 foot pass

This is what we need but modified for our cars.

My Wife started a Super Charger Fund for me a couple of years ago with a $2,500 deposit so I'm could be in the market for one soon.

Your wife started a S/C fund for you?!?!? I think your wife needs to call and talk to my wife!! But yeah, that would be great for our cars. Not sure if they can do it due to space issues. Turbo seems more feasible.

IM pretty sure there is enough space. might require a thinner intercooler but they should fit.

LOL that seems to be the case with everyone right now. From what i looked at and talked with the guys this does seem possible to get done. But i think we are all gonna have to wait till the economy pics up alittle.

I love my GXP but this is one of the reasons I'm contemplating a move to G8. Did anyone catch the article about Lenginfelter G8. It is SIC!

Ya i just got the magazine today with that in it. Looks bad ass. There quarter mile times were really high. I think it said only 12.5 something like that. Should be able to get into the 11's with 500hp.

52k for the Lingenfelter with their warranty or what 38-40k for th GXP then maybe another 10 ontop of that for a supercharger and various other mods along with a voided warranty.

You would have to go with a Centrifugal Supercharger for clearence issues, Like a Vortec, ProCharger. And you probably wouldn't be able to mount it inline with the pulley's. or have your manifold modified to run A roots style setup and drop the cradle like we do when we get a Intercooler for clearence. But I would go with a whipple if you have your manifold modified
