So this guy I work with is always giving me shit saying how he wll beat me in a race we both have the kn&n intake what all can I do to make sure I smoke him? besides just intake

What year Impala is it? Assuming is 2006 or better with the LS4, I would go with Cat-back and a tune. Make sure to keep weight down: nothing in the trunk, 1/4 tank of gas etc. Practice launching too, its not easy on these cars.

A 50 or 75 Dry shot wouldnt hurt to ensure the win either.

i wouldnt worry too bad about winning. I have a good friend that said after driving an impala ss the gxp feels a good bit faster. also the stock 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times are faster on the gxp than the impala.

I'm not sure but I beat a 06 or newer ss impalla last night. Close off the line but start pulling away from him after 40 mph. I think the intake and exhaulst helped me kill him.
