I accidentally found these pics taken at a Firehawk event where SLP apparently brought a GP with the SLP hood. Looks really good. This is the only visual improvement I believe a GXP could possibly benefit from. I'm not fond of the similar hood with the heat extractor vents that a lot of people have.

Has anyone ever seen a GXP with this hood?

I like them because they are so rare, but in my opinion...Inferno FTW!

I just wish they made more stuff for our cars.

More hoods, front, and rear extensions, and of course PROJECTOR HEADLIGHT!!!

they made them for a couple of years
but they stopped production
they are the rarest hood for the 04+ gp
so rare you'll have to pay upwards of 1000

I don't get the impression that they made very many. I'd estimate fewer than 50 based on how hard it is to find pics of one, but I really don't know...

the cf inferno is 1000 before shipping. shipping from pfyc is just plain ridiculous. they want 100 bucks to ship the inferno spoiler. screw that

I dont like the hood on the regular GP. on the GXP i think it looks alot better. Id like to have one for rarity sakes, but i like the bulge of the Inferno hood.

I have two of them..

1. The one on my car
2. another one is in my basement.. Plus I lost one in a fire..I also lost a Inferno too..

There are 150 of them made & the price was 599.99 for them.. They went to 399.99 when SLP stopped making them..

My last offer for mine was 1800.00   I will keep them..

Unfortunately, there hasn't been a GXP posted yet with one on here.

I don't know anything about GPs unless they are GXPs, but there are two different looking GPs in this topic.

I did a little searching and found this GP with the hood. The color of the car wasn't silver, so I was able to fake the hood on my GXP really easily in photoshop.

Image

I corrected the perspective of the hood when I put it on to closely match the perspective in my pic, then deleted all but the scoops.

So this is about what an SLP hood would look like on a GXP. Not exactly as GTO-esque as I would have hoped. I think I like the stock hood just fine. Don't like the Inferno hood much at all.

Not a big fan of the Inferno hood either, I would give just about anything for one of those SLP hoods though

I like it better than stock hood, but not bold enough for me...which I guess is why I have a WS6 hood on my GT.
