Hey all

I put HIDs in my 06 on Tuesday. I started the car yesterday morning for the drive to work and as I'm going it says "battery saver mode" I just thought maybe the battery might be taking a beating or something because I have the heat on so I just kept going. A few minutes later the service engine soon message comes up. It goes away after a while but the same thing happened today. What gives any ideas?

I think you have 3 things to think about:1) you left the headlights on too long when you were hooking them up and discharged the battery. 2) Your battery is on its way out. 3)You have corroded battery terminals.
