From 2005 to 2007, RPO code Z7U was the code that meant "MODEL CONVERSION PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GXP" but for some reason 2008 GXPs seem to lack it. What's the deal with that? That's pretty weird.

You can tell a GXP from any other GP by the LS4 code, but just the same, that's like finding a Camaro Z28 with the LS1 or LT1 code but not the Z28 code. I decoded a 2008 GXP and nothing else seems to specifically say the car is a GXP.

Wonder if it refers to upgrading from s/c v6 to the v8.......no s/c model available in 2008,so therefore no upgrade code?
