Do you have a check engine code or light on the dash? Remote start is disabled with a check engine light.

You have a few possibilities:1)Your remotes are bad 2)your attenna has become disconnected3)your bcm is going south4)your alarm module is going south. Most will require a trip to dealer, sorry to say.

Where is the reciever located at? My friend has a 05 impala and we have the same key fob as they do and his car wont start or unlock unless he's like 20 feet away lol. I figured it was cause his sensor is located in a bad spot compared to ours.

I know the thread is getting old but it is the magnetic layer on the back of the buttons going bad, The cold brings it out more for some reason. People have fixed it by putting foil on the back of the buttons or just getting a new remote from ebay and using your remote board in the new remote case and buttons to avoid having to reprogram.
