Hi all ! Just purchased an '05 GXP ."Bleen" colour .Lots of power and good looks. Now I have searched for my answer but I just get headaches trying to follow all the numbers :???: I need snow rims tires to be 235/55/17 (right?) but what is the rim? 17*7 or 17*7.5 with an offset range of what? I know it's out there some where darned if I can find it.
Thanks for any help :???:

Factory Comp G or GTP rims work great. Or even Mont Carlo or Impala 17 rims. I say get someones used take off rims. Last tiem I got factory take offs I payed $150 shipped for the rims.

I have a set of these for winter:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelClo ... ty_front=4

(just in case the link doesn't work)
17x7.5
40mm Offset
5.90" Backspacing
with 235/55-17 tires.

I used them all last year. I heard some slight rubbing on the rears when the trunk was *loaded* down, and the kids were in the back. But that was only for one trip over large frost-heave bumps.
