Here's how I got this car. jus paid off my then car 01 impala which i had a set off 10000K HID's and had around 82k miles on it.. (date was November 15. 2008) Now i had been seeing alot of GP's (04+ of course) around town and noticed how nice they looked, and i started searching online for all trim levels for it and found one that i never see around town (reason being.. everyone is driving the base gt and gtp's) and went to the nearest dealership. To my luck we found 2 GXP's in area dealership auctions... one was a Ivory white 08 and the other was a stone gray 07. the white 08 was around 32k and had 800 miles on it.. but i wasn't lookin for a brand new car, and being that its hard to keep a white car clean around here. I went with the stone gray priced at 22k for 32k miles (was a rent-a-car). After trade in and License plate credit i got the car for 14,995. Now seeing the bulb socket was the same for the 01 impala and the 07 GXP i had the dealership move my HID's to the GP GXP. Later I had a shop remove the mufflers and install 2 glass packs in thier place, and im still lookin for some better tips to put on it (I can't decide with either goin with the same style or and oval type),later i ordered and recieved a set of Smoked LED tail lights as well as a new set of HID's this time in 12000K. That is all i have done with it so far and i can't think of anything else to do with it, other then trying to find some blue bulbs for the projector fog lamps, and looking for a different spoiler. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Will have some pics of it soon.

Welcome! Order another set of HID's for the fogs. I believe they're H11's. Once you get the stuff installed post up some pics.

Thanx for the suggestions and welcomes. ok got the HID fogs on order as well as for some HID's for the brights. DP 08 GXP where did you get the 3rd stop light cover from? and anyone know where ot find some LED bulbs for the front turn signal/parking lamps... i cant seem to find any for the bulb size that is in the owners manual. Also anyone know of a different spoiler for these cars? the on there now is a bit to plain and would like to change to truly make it my own.

I originally bought a third brake light overlay from grafxwerks.com

http://www.grafxwerks.com/products/deta ... GPGX2-1256

when i had Flip paint my tails and reverse light i had him also do the third brake light so the colors matched perfectly because the overlay i bought was a lil off in certain lights. i would suggest having Flip do one for ya because it will look a lot better then the sticker and probably wont cost too much more then what the sticker would.

Sounds like you have got all sorts of plans for the car. Lowering springs would be nice, but to my knowledge, there aren't any for the GXP ( Not that I have found ).
Welcome to the site.

You are correct sir! they drop it just the right amount, without affecting the ride quality

Thanks DP. I forgot to mention earlier that I have a blue LED underbody ground effects kit and matches my headlights perfectly. I have ordered Dons STB bars F&R, I will be ordering a CAI from Cold Air Inductions very soon, and I have decided to in the near future to order the Inferno Spoiler and Ram air Hood in Carbon Fiber.

I don't think im gonna paint the Hood or spoiler. Jus clear them and install. Being i have a grey colored car then the carbon fiber would match pretty well. But it prolly wont be for a few months before i get them and an additional two weeks after to get them installed. Also does anyone know where to find some grill inserts for the GXP on both the upper and lower grills?

not interested in lowering the car, roads are rough and winter makes them worse. also is there a website that shows how to change the fogs on these cars?

when my brother changed out my fogs for HID's he removed the lower grill which gave him access to them. as far as wiring goes that is beyond me as he did all of it.
