well i went to a dyno with my Ohio GP club on saturday and here are my numbers and video. the video is with the cutout closed and there is only one that they shot. my camera decided to not record any sound  . the reason the guy is shakin his head is cuz i had 4* of KR that ill be taking care of with my 160* tstat, colder plugs and 3'' DP which should all be on in a few weeks. the first 2 runs were with the cutout closed and the 3rd was opened. the car sat for about 20 minutes between runs 1 and 2 so it cooled off and the third run the car was heat soaked pretty bad so im guessin thats why the numbers werent great.

Remote start won't help much once you start driving. You'll have to block off your grills to get it to stay warm if it gets really cold! 20 degrees or less maybe eve 32

Absolutely. You'll hate the 160* unit, and so will the car.

I'd get a 180*. Fuel mileage will suffer with a 160*, as well. To be REALLY beneficial, make sure the fans are set to turn on earlier as well.

Or run the 160 for the hotter weather, and in the winter time pop the stock one back in.

NAPA parts... ZZP prolly 15 shipped if not less.. 35$ is a rip off...
the 160* wouldnt set a code but it would b in there useless since the fans dont turn on till 200*F i think! someone correct me if im wrong.. i know that because when i put the 180* in my car without the PCM it didnt do kcuf all
