Anybody ever put a Magnacharger on their GXP?

They make them for the 5.3L engine in GM SUVs, but I don't know if SUVs have LS3s or not...

Not sure how well it would work with the whole Displacement on Demand thing on the GXP's 5.3L V8

Oops, that was a typo, I meant LS4. They make them for 5.3L engines like those found in the Escalade, Tahoe, etc. but I'm not sure if those are LS4s or not.

No. That's an different engine. Plus, what with the engine bay confinements of the FWD GP, it wouldn't work anyhow.

^^^^He is correct. Putting a V8 in a FWD is hard enough let alone putting a blower on top of it. It sucks but there is almost no room under the hood of the GXP. At least not enough for a Supercharger. I think it is possible but you would need to stick a pretty penny into modifying the engine to accommodate a Supercharger(also what sucks is our "bulletproof" trannys would just love all of the extra power" GXP Trannys are garbage.

^you guys have the 4T65e just like us, right??mated to a V8 enigne, and it can barely handle the power of a modified V6 GTP as it is...fail GM, epic FAIL.

The LS4 GP gets an upgraded version of the 4T65E-HD.

Only thing I could think of would be the valve body for the TapShift that the GXP's have, and maybe some hardened internals? I dunno, for how weak they are you would think they're not much different than the regular 4T65e's

They aren't. The TapShift stuff is different, and there are some hardened parts, even over the 4T65E-HD.
