What is the part number of the K&N unit for our cars. The K&N website says it's 63-3059. I looked it up on Amazon and they say that number doesn't fit my car.

that is the correct number....some sites i have had to use 07 instead of 08 to pull up results for some reason but the one you have is right.

i paid 20 for mine new, and then 70 for a new filter

Yes, and the cheapest place I've seen this exact setup is on ebay, and they want $283. This price is awesome! I paid $325 for the one that was on my 04 GP.
