Hey gang,

I just got my GXP and I love it so far. Runs good, shifts good..minor things here and there (Exhaust leak!)

It has the HVAC controls, dual zone, with heated seats and I'm having a hard time tracking down a part number

is this the one I need..?

Actually, perhaps I can get a hand with this. It seems like half the lights dont light up on it. Is there any bulbs in it or is it just a typcial GM thing (ive had this happen on all my other GMs lol)

Also, is it normal that when I start the car the AC always goes on..? the light with the snowflake is on when I start the car.

Jeff I have noticed that too. I was wondering why the snow flake was lit. It seems to heat up fine, I was just curious.

So did anybody have any luck on taking these units apart and soldering in new light bulbs? I can't afford the whole new unit

I was trying to find the right up for it. I wasn't sure if there was one for the HVAC or not but heres the link to the radio lights which are basically the same thing.
