Got a little warm last week so I finally slid the sunroof panel back. And open the sunroof up. Well I noticed the front part of the headliner, where the interior lights are, hangs down a bit. I can push it up a good half inch or more, its just hanging and though it looks fine it annoys me knowing its like that. So I tried looking up in there to see if any clips were out of place or broken off. I can't see much but am hoping its a clip or two. Is anyone else's like this or should it not move? I'm hoping the fit is a bit nicer than this, nut wouldn't put it past GM. This is in my 06 GXP.

It does hang down some, and the amount you're talking about seems pretty normal.

I believe mine is not "flush" and is normal to our gen cars!! I too will need to check this out next time I start the car. But I seem to remember being able to stick a few fingers in between the liner and roof...

I assume you mean there is a gap between the headliner and the roof where it meets the sunroof opening.

I noticed this shortly after buying my 08 GXP. If you screw around with the plastic trim piece around the sunroof, you'll notice it's a poof fit. With enough screwing around, it will actually slide/clip in to the sunroof and be nice and tight. It takes some time and patience, but once it's all in the proper position everything is nice and tight. When it's properly clipped in, the plastic trim piece is nice and tight against the sunroof cover when it's closed.
