over on ls1tech there was a lot of talk about the throttle body spacer and whether or not it really did anything. one guy said he got 9 hp and 17 i think torque improvment on the dyno after installing it. i drank the hop on the ban wagon juice and got one. i had it put on today which took all of maybe 30 minutes with a 5 minute interuption from the mother in law, dropping the f*cking screw driver into the engine  , and also a socket decided to pop off the ratchet so i had to do a scavenger hunt for that. took it for a drive a lil bit ago and i was able to get my tires to spin some at 30 which i couldnt get before. i know a lot of people who went with the airraid TBS said there was a noticeable whistle that it made, kinda like a turbo. i didnt think i would like that so i went with the hamburger TBS and there is only a lil bit of a whistle at certain rpms so i am very happy with it. here is the link to what i went with. i would recommend this mod if you have $100 laying around and 30, at the max, minutes on your hand.

Mine worked really well on my 4.3 L S-10 V-6, but then again, the bore and stroke are identicle to the 5.7L, just minus 2 cyl.

Works very well on my 5.3L truck. Don't have one on the GXP yet.

I have one on the way from Summit. Been on B/O since April. I too will drink the cool-aid and see. Its funny how something so simple can have that affect.
