Both of my rear shocks have gone out in my 2008 GXP. First my right rear one went out with about 26,000 miles and now my left rear one has gone out with 29,000 miles. Anyone else have this issue? My 2004 GP GT had 115,000 miles when I changed them and they probably didn't need it.

I don't have any known issues either.

That should still be covered by warranty I believe

Yes, it is covered, but was just wondering if there was an issue on anyones GXP's. To loose both rear shocks before 30,000 miles is pretty bad. Only thing that I can think of is that maybe they had a bad lot of shocks that went on.

Had a front drivers side go out which wasn't under warranty and was in the neighborhood of 740 parts labor and alignment.

That does suck. Your's if the first issue I've heard of with the struts going bad. Hopefully it was a fluke, and not something on your car causing them to go bad, or the roads.

You don't usually keep a lot of weight in the trunk do you? Just a thought.

No, never too much weight in the trunk, and I bought the car with 20,000 miles on it, so I've only put 9,000 on it myself. The dealer I go to for all my work said that this is the first time he's heard of it. I've been taking my cars there ever since I got my first GP in 2002, so I trust what he says. Don't think it's the roads. It has been sitting all winter for the most part, because I've been out of town. I'm thinking it is just a fluke.
