I just recently purchased an 08 gxp with the factory nav system installed. Has anyone had any luck with ipod integration with this specific set up or with ipods in general in grand prixs? I have seen the GM lockpick device online at a few sites, but wonder how well it actually works. If anyone has had any luck please let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I have a regular GXP stereo and bought a kit that came with an Ipod and regular 3.5mm jack for other MP3 players. also suports HD radio. It was real simple, just plugs inline with the factory radio. Then one single wire to a control box. THen u plug in the accesory cable u want to use into the control box run the wires where u want them. Really simple. I did it in the parking lot after i bought it. lol. I picked it up when Circuit City was going out of bussinesss. Thats were i picked mine up at. On the box it said it only supported 07 Grand prix, but on the inside it had a paper list that included the 08 models. The link for the company http://www.peripheralelectronics.com...ts.aspx?q=NULL
The kit is called PXAMG and will come with 2 different wire harnesses. PGHGM5 and PGHGM1, the one for my grand prix(NON NAV) was the PGHGM5. It was basically plug and play. There website kinda sucks.
Lol i actuallly installed it in the parking lot, then whent home and did a good install of hiding the wires and such.

Once you go to the site. Use the search and put in PXAMG

Cant say for sure that it will work with the nave but since it had two differnt wire harness i would assume so. Take a pic of your connector for the radio. Mine was grey the other one in the box is black.

I'm also trying to find a way to use my ipod in my 2008 Grand Prix GXP with factory nav as well. If anyone finds anything out, please let this thread hear about it. Thanks
