An unfortunate incodent happened. Had an accident and over a curb and messed up mycatback and rear bumper cover. I wanted to replace just my mufflers already for a better sound and performance. Now that insureance will be paying for repairs i might as well pay the different (if there is one) on a new aftermarket cat back.

Seems to be everyone who has the MagnaFlow on likes it, where would be the best/cheapest place to get one? And Are there any other options for catbacks? I searched and magnaflow was the only off the shelf one I found.

The only other option is Corsa but.....its about 1300. I got mine from Hottexhaust using the CGP discount and it was the cheapest around.

You don't need to be a member of cgp, just gotta know the coupon. I paid $517 shipped, but honestly it's cheaper to have one made.

chgp1 or something

I purchased a magnaflow cat back for my 2006 GXP back in June. It makes a god awful noise at 2500rpms, it hurts my wife'e ears. It also bangs on the antisway bar at very low speeds. I talked to the local speed shop about it, they suggest pounding the pipe flat where it hits the antisway bar. I would look for an alterative before buying.

i have the magnalow catback too and when i had it with the res. on at 2500 the sound isnt bad at all....your wife must have sensitive ears....only time the 2500rpm drone gets to me is when my cutout is open after i took the res. off....i havent had any issues with it hitting anything and i would suggest this system because it is melow at low rpms but will still give ya a good growl when you get on it.

Try taking the cat and res out and keep it at 2500, your head will nearly explode lol

It helps to crack the windows to let the pressure out, or crack the cutout

Just got back from getting the Estimate for the repairs for the insurance company (place they sent me). $4675; front bumper cover ($838), Both grills ($86each), Pontiac Emblem ($41), Rear bumper cover ($726), rear exhaust section ($1206), Right rear rocker molding ($256), some misc and the paint work....

I can rent a lift around here for $7.50/hr so i was going to buy and put on the MagnaFlow system myself as well as my trailerhitch that I have sitting in the garage (have to drop the cat back to install it).

Were is the coupon i need to order the magnaflow catback for just over $500?

try chgp1, also try to order your own parts from gmpartsdirect or monsterpartsonline. And good luck finding a new GXP bumper, I had an accident myself and the only one anybody could pull up was the base/GTP bumper, which is why I'm patching and painting it myself...

Go to PFYC.com

They have a magnaflow catbac for around $750. About $200 cheaper than buying it straight from the company.
